Ryobi DirectPress 5634 Installer

Ive been asked to purchase a 5634 real cheap but have no idea who to talk to have it tore down and reinstalled. anyone know of someone that can do that so i can contact them.

My 2 cents is that was a bad purchase when they came out, it's an awful purchase now. If you're still going to buy it, maybe Presstek will install and service it, but it'll likely cost more than what you paid for it. I know we spent almost 4 grand just taking ours to a junkyard last year.

I have a Heidelberg QMDI right now that has been a great machine but is wearing out. The old operator of the Ryobi said he liked it over the QMDI. So, I thought the $2000 it was gonna cost me, was worth atleast looking into it further but maybe i need to do a little more research on it. I do expect it will be quite a bit to fly someone in to tear down and re install it so i want to make sure its gonna be as good or better than the QMDI.

LOL a DI Proprietary ex=Presstek and now I believe MarckAndy cash burner. Make sure you check the laser's and elctronics, rollers, computer and sofware, pumps, cooling units for rollers. Also check the power requirement needs and site location. It may help to know it is also a 52DI. Is it a parts press?

No, not a parts press. It was running a few weeks ago. The shop got bought out. I know and have done business with both the buyer and seller so i feel i can trust both of them. I bought his old QMDI for parts and was there when they put it in. they just need to move it to make room for more digital equipment. I am also getting more into the digital side of things. It pains me to say it but its way cheaper and easier than offset. I just dont want to get into this for tens of thousands when i run most of my color on digital. it looks like a good deal but after hearing it isnt a good press i may not tie into it and keep milking my Heidelberg along.
