Saddle Stitcher

Hi

Until recently we had a Bindery Mate II saddle stitcher which served us well for over 30 years, unfortunately a few weeks ago it gave up to the point beyond repair.

Can anyone recommend a similar machine on the market? We use it for raffle tickets, booklets (including small fixture booklets, A6, sometimes smaller!)

Or, does anyone know of a Bindery Mate II available used in the UK?

Thanks

We use a 40 year old Bostitch saddle stitcher that looks similar and its build like a tank. I'd recommend it if you can find one for a price you like and put it through its paces. I see them in auctions in the US pretty often. Not sure on UK sourcing.

For a similar option to a saddle stitcher, consider a booklet maker with saddle stitching capabilities. The Duplo DBM-150 is a reliable choice, offering efficient saddle stitching along with other finishing features like folding and trimming.

It's ideal for creating professional-looking booklets, brochures, and pamphlets with a neat, staple-bound finish. With its automated operation and customizable settings, the Duplo DBM-150 streamlines the booklet-making process, making it suitable for small to medium-sized print environments. Additionally, its versatility and ease of use make it a practical investment for businesses looking to enhance their in-house printing capabilities.
