Signlab end of life

Do people still use Signlab?? I work for a large sign company and its a bit of a mess some people use Illustrator others use Signlab for artwork. I want to move away and have everyone use Adobe products. Pros Cons anyone as have asked here and people have strong opinions. What is the best way to go nowadays as we are looking to automate pre-press.

Ooooh.
Me = No Adobe = fighting constant changes to their apps which hamper interactivity which they don't acknowledge. Aaaaargh.
There are VERY GOOD - even VERY GOOD FREE - alternatives for vector work / prepress.

Top down analysis - I used to do this for a living switching people from traditional to digital.
Looks like you know what you want to do - go do it!
