Hi
I'm looking for a software that can be used to linearize and ink limiting a black only inkjet press.
With ink limiting, I mean to find where the ink density peaks.
Initially we had a Kodak inkjet system in our Timson T-Press with a setup of an X-Rite i1Pro rev D (over 10 years old) that I used together with Kodaks Color Toolkit which worked great.
We have now switched over to Fujis inkjet that comes with a Hybrid Software's Cloudflow RIP
I can still use Kodaks Color Toolkit, but had to write a script that converts it's kcs-files to a format our new RIP understands (cfcurve).
However, Kodaks Color Toolkit's license it locked to a very old laptop that I dont want to use anymore. So I'm looking for alternatives now.
I've reached out to X-Rite and got a recommended way of doing the linearization, but I dont know if X-rites software can recommend a good ink limit?
I've also tried ColorLogic/ColorAnt by Hybrid Software (same vendor of the RIP we use), but I don't know how to create a linearization curve out of my measurements.
Any suggestions?
