It's Thursday afternoon down here in Central Florida, and, most schools and businesses are shut down for today in advance of the arrival of hurricane Helene.

I've long since retired, but, back when I was still huffin n puffin, we had a specific "shut-down" procedure to follow in advance of an approaching event and a "start back up" procedure to follow after the storm had passed.

I think now would be as good a time as any for members to share their processes with each other in hopes that each can possibly discover some items they may have overlooked.
