Truflow quits unexpectedly

Hopefully someone out there has a simple remedy to this issue. We can't see to nail it down.

We have 2 exact iMacs running MAC OS 10.6.7 with your typical prepress apps/tools installed. Both use Truflow client 5.0 (Trueflow SE Rite Ver5.00 TF016). One of the stations started to get the "Truflow quit unexpectedly" message. Now the client will not launch at all. He just gets the error message right away. He tried re-installing the client, he ran disk utility, verified/fixed permissions and did a software update that put it at OS 10.6.8.

Anyone run into this issue before or have any suggestions?

Thanks

If you open up console.app within Applications/Utilities do you see any info in the crash logs?

You may also want to see if there is a preference file you can trash/recreate. Typically they are found in user/library/preferences/.

Regards,
Greg

Check if the java versions on both machines are the same. I'm almost certain that this is a java problem. Also your patch version is a very old one. You should ask your screen dealer to upgrade your system to the latest version. The client will also be upgraded in the process. But you need to re-install it though.
