Xerox 1000 with freeflow & high cap stacker - add a non "connected" finisher?
Hi All.
We have a Xerox 1000 with freeflow rip. We also have the high capacity stacker but no finisher attached. We would like the option to deliver the sheet past the high cap stacker unit onto a conveyor that feeds into a un-connectable finisher. So.... because there is nothing physically plugged into the Xerox, the only options we can select in finishing properties are to deliver the finished sheets to the stacker. I see an option in the freeflow to set up an "external" finisher but don't really know if this is relevant to what we are trying to accomplish. We tried creating an external finisher, but it doesn't seem to appear in the job properties for finishing options.
First does anyone know if this is possible? If so, can you give me a detailed description of how to go about it?
Thanks!
