We have just recieved the new Seiko Colorpainter H104S. But we have a bit of problems keeping the media flat on the platen. We have tried vinyls papers and banners. Only heavy banners 100" is flat. Does anybody have any recomendations on heater settings ect. for this printer.

Thanks in advance

Hello, Ive found that the best temps are rear 40, platen 35-40 and between 50 and 60 on the output side of the printer. The only time that I had issues with head strike was with wallpaper and for that I raised the head height to 2mm and redid the bidi's for that particular media.

sorry off topic..

SEIKO Colopainter H74 S

sorry off topic .... but I'm having problems with Intermittent faults in the printing of Magenta (m2 and m7), the cleanup after the nozzle check is ok.
Why?
was replaced the print head m2 (12/2010) and M7 in (06/2011) ... I print about 500 m2 per month. and M2 is now failing again. why?

(sorry, google translator)

Does anyone have a workshop manual or service manual for the Seiko H104s? We want to investigate errors and do some repairs ourself.

Thank you. My tech has registered now -xam777- can you work with him please. We are really looking for a pdf workshop manual if possible.
