Problem with Fiery "impose" not saving variable images

Hope someone has an idea! I have been creating variable pdfs with Fusion Pro. I then use "Fiery Impose" to impose. This has been working fine until recently. I sent the pdf to Fiery, then "impose" and it works fine until I save the "imposed" document. When saving it looses he variable images. they are there in the "impose" window but when saving the final Adobe Acrobat file - they are gone??

Adobe Acrobat DC
Latest Version of Fiery
Green Impose Dongle

I've never seen that happen with Fusion & Impose. Has anything changed in the software chain? Any software updates?

Have you tried using a different export setting like PDF VT?

Our workflow is to export the files from fusion already imposed & then print at the Fiery.

Hi,

thanks for asking. Yes, windows 10 updated and my Adobe Acrobat XI stopped working so I updated to Adobe DC however all that started before the Adobe update but after the Windows 10 update. I prefer to use my fiery Impose - it has some features Fusion Pro Impose doesnt have... right now I am having to use Fusion Pro Impose tool.

oh - I cant get the VT to work with it?

Have you tried imposing a few pages before and after the page(s) that are loosing the variable images. Or even try making a new file with just a few pages that are loosing the variable images and see what happens. I've never used Fiery Impose, but do have FusionPro and we use the Impose included with it.

Smaller test area, might give you a clue if it is a file issue or a file size issue.

I've seen odd issues with variable data if i don't process and view first in command workstation.
