I wouldn't go so far as to say that. For the record, I used a woman for this 'toon because about 90% of professional print buyers are women. I know this because I've given many seminars at print buyer conferences.
I worked for small print shops and newspapers, and just about any customer would ask their front desk person/receptionist to make these kinds of calls. In my area, those were always, always, women. And they usually didn't really know anything about the businesses they worked for.
Of course, the business owners would ask for stuff like this, too, but they weren't as naive about it as this lady looks. If a business owner asked for a favor like this, you knew that he knew better and that the next thing would be the old, "my old printer would do it."
