The Leaf Company was active before they produced the cards, and I am wondering if since they were producing candies in Chicago, if they were producing the packaging as well, in the same facility. If that is the case, did they use the same presses for the packaging that they did for the cards. All the fun that goes into the detective work.

Steve, thanks for replying to my question about the baseball cards. Would you be alright if I used your name as a reference for your opinion? I am working on compiling research now on the set and trying to connect all the dots. Having voices like yours, that know the trade is vital to proving the theory that changes were made to the printing plates.
