We have had notification that production of these plates has stopped.
Can anybody on the forum recommend a plate to use on our vector TX or is it scrap metal now..
We have had our Ricoh for 8 months.
After initial bedding in issues it has been great. Better quality and speed than our old Xerox 700 but that was to be expected in a newer machine.
We use the spot gloss on certain jobs white not at all yet.
Long sheet is a great feature and we have improved...
Hi guys we are printing a 200pp double sided document for wiro binding all on 100gsm laser. it is a 19000 run double sided but the machine ricoh c7100 keeps pausing after every 3-4 sheets.
We are getting approx. 7 sheets per minute SRA3 double sided help please...
Trouble is with banner tray the tail edge of the paper or board is still in the feed tray when the front end hits the registration part so the tail end is skewed as it comes through.
Only way they can fix this is by fitting a bridge unit making sure the tail is clear of the feeder unit before...
We are 3 months in with ours and it's been fantastic. 130k on the clock
My operator cannot get over how good the registration is on this.
We only have a problem with the banner tray registration which is a known fault apparently..?
Certainly an upgrade on our old Xerox 700.
Hi Digital printfan you are correct there is no comparison between the 2 machines as tech has advanced in ten years.
However to compare to the 1000i in the UK is not comparable as the Ricoh machine is half the price, and comparable in terms of output.
1 month in and 60k on the clock.
Can count then jams on one hand.
Great machine but do not tell everyone :)
We came from a Xerox 700 and the difference is night and day...
We are 2 weeks in from our install and I have got to say it is a beast. We have had approx. 6 jams in two weeks and it runs all day long perfect. We came from a Xerox 700 so to have prints come out straight and in fit is something of a novelty...
We did have a patch update which cured the last...
Ours was delivered yesterday, Start training on it today. Replaced our old Xerox 700.
We got the white/clear option and banner feeder.
Looking forward to seeing what we can do with this.
Back of blade cuts will help.
Also check with your blade people it's my understanding that digital/litho blades are ground at different angles.
I think there will always be some chipping with toner machines lamination is the only answer.
Hope this helps
Well
After weeks of troubles...
We washed the rollers with boiling water and not a single problem since.
Runs of 10k, 20k not a problem.
Got to say Presstek UK have been excellent throughout.
They did replace a couple of parts so maybe a combination of cleaning rollers and parts.
But happy to...
