Is the printing industry effected by Financial Crisis much?

I work in a .com "budget" digital shop and we can barely keep the roof on this place. Going to hit at least 1.5 million clicks this month.

    Oce CS650 / KM 6500 Drum Issue

Not very cost effective for what we do. We have a sweet deal with KM and other than the drum flipping issue they suit what we do very well.

    Oce CS650 / KM 6500 Drum Issue

After a week and half of having the new drums installed only 2 flips. We run 5 6501's 15 hours a day so I'd say they are a dramatic improvement so far.

    Oce CS650 / KM 6500 Drum Issue

Yes. The new drums are Du-102b's with a green dot on the box. Received three cases of them last week. They seem to flip less frequently but they do still flip.

    Oce CS650 / KM 6500 Drum Issue

Not true. I have witnessed the revised "102b green dot" drums flip.

2214 on a 102-b "green dot" drum this morning. Just 5k clicks on it. Oh well.

Got 3 cases of "green dot" 102b drums yesterday. Tech used them in a full PM on one machine and so far so good. Seems they have the c500 blade and holders.

It is VERY cold here but the facility is climate controlled and paper is given at least two days after reception before it sees a printer. Nice on the revised drums. Hopefully we see them VERY soon.

Five with a few other machines in the mix. Not sure how much it costs but it is in ours and KMs best interest that he is here. Over 1 million clicks last month out of the those five and that number is growing steadily.

I am aware of an updated drum for K (don't know what's specific about it being just for K). Du-102b, but they flip also. Our KM tech is on site M-F 8 to 5 so it's not too big of a deal. He can get it back up pretty quick. It's after daytime hours and weekends that really hurt because it renders...

Pretty much the same here. Our tech has even tried swapping in old c500 parts (blades never flipped on those) to no avail. We have several 6501's and sometimes this happens multiple times per day on multiple machines at completely random intervals.

Ok.... Can I assume Random is some kind of KM homer that is going to explain how bad training is responsible for a part breaking?

Anyone else having the same issues with the drum's cleaning blade "flipping"? Konica tech says it's fairly widespread. Just wondering if anyone here is experiencing this issue.
