We used to run KM before getting our current Versant. The KM ran silk stocks without any issue and much preferred the machine overall to the Xerox Versant. However, the KM uses corona wires and we ended up having to replace them quite frequently but they’re cheap and easy to replace.

Yes but what I meant was surely the coating is there for a reason so if the coating comes off, will the pressure roller continue to function correctly?

Will it ‘settle’ then after doing that? The company I got the roller from have been excellent so far but I don’t want to get it replaced if it’s not actually an issue as such.
