I'm not sure if this picture is very clear but I changed the fuser belt assembly and the lower pressure roller a while back and since then I feel like the quality of prints have reduced from my Versant. I don't have anything to compare to but things like solid blocks of blacks on uncoated paper look more like a dark grey, and I keep seeing mottled prints where it used to be solid.
Around the time I changed the fuser belt assembly and the lower pressure roller, I did also change several drums but I can't recall whether the degradation in quality was before or after that and it all could, of course, be coincidental and not linked at all.
Anyway, I've tried to capture the issue in a photo...this is supposed to be a solid colour but you can see areas of white.
Before I call a tech out (I'm not in a contract anymore so would have to pay for a callout), I wondered if you knowledgeable folk might know what the issue is... could I just have bad drums, bad developer, do I need to perform density calibration or something?
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
