Versant 4100 cross process dust grabbing

I'm having a vexing issue with Cross Process / Perpendicular to the paper feed artifacts that look and feel like scratches in relatively new Versant 4100. This issue was last resolved in our versant 3100 by replacing the fuser belt module.
The artifact is RAISED and you can feel it
There is some kind of white dust that is getting attached in a line
The issue does not occur with 148gsm and lower media
The line goes clear across any toner
The issue does not happen every sheet, but every 2-5 sheets

I think paper dust is getting accumulated someplace and pulled into the fusing process under the toner...?

Troubleshooting steps so far:
replaced the fuser belt module
replaced the pressure roller cleaning pad
replaced the IBT belt recently for a different issue
replaced the IBT cleaner

The ruler in the photo is in inches.

why dont you stop the paper at different point and see at what stage it happens rather than changing every part on the machine and hopping that will fix it ,called the shoot gun method

I'm uncomfortable using crash stops because I'd need a lot of them to pin-point the issue, and I worry about scratching the IBT belt and fuser belt with loads of crash stops. The parts removed are on the shelf and are still usable.

Also, by posting my guesses it helps show that I'm making an effort, and possibly rule out diagnostic ideas, and thus save time from others responding or researching stuff that I have tried already.

I've seen something similar to this with our V4100... its caused (in our case) by the fuser running at a different speed than the IBT. The sheet essentially buckles while going into the fuser, causing the sheet to ever so slightly rub into the top of the fuser entry. Are you using any speed overrides on the stock(s) in your Media Manager?

I have never used the speed adjustment feature. Is there a process for determining fuser speed adjustments, or do you just experiment? What fuser speed adjustments are you using for 220gsm and 300gsm 13x19 coated?

After some experimentation, a 1% fuser speed increase resolved the issue with 300gsm 13x19 Titan Gloss. thanks a bunch!
cool... its 1-bagillion percent having to experiment. In service mode there is a calibration entry for the speed of fuser, likely it is off by 1% across the board. that 1% doesn't make a big difference on narrow 8.5x/A4 papers, but will add up on larger 17x/18x/19x stocks. I warn against going too much above 1%... I tried 5% once and had all kinds of weird image quality issues before I truly understood what was going on when that setting was changed.

I'm 99% sure that if the fuser speed is incorrect, the technical manual just states install a new speed sensor (each sensor comes with its own calibration data)
