Hello, We still do filmoutput and have a clients that for years always make their vector file as Registration color, when we go to output just the black have been getting "the pages selected to print do not contain any inks that will produce plates" any suggestions besides just make it 100%...

Update Have since posted learned that RENZ has no dealers in the USA anyone know of who may service these machines in the southern california area.

Appreciate all your inputs. It would be nice for Adobe to update to PDF/X-6 but in my opinion they do not put much time into our industry that is why they are ripe to have happen to them what they did to Quark! Mario

Appreciate the input- On a pdf from client in what ever they save it as and placing in indesign and resaving as PDF/X-4 would that change pdf? or it keeps its original saved mode?

Appreciate the reply. Have an older Xante now like the quality not happy with the feeder. Spoke to someone with an Ijet 1175 which he has had for a few years and very Happy. Did mentioned that quality is not like the Xante.

Hello Steve, Thanks for asking. Have not gotten it to a 50=50 we usually just go with a 50% + or - 2%.

Can someone shed some light into the following. We still make film and always calibrate using negatives, we tried to calibrate with a postivie and there is quite a difference between the measurement of the Negs and Positive. Is there a logical reason why this is? Example: Neg 50% at 53...
