Is there a spot ink that reproduces the true violet color? Not a purple (that's a mix of blue and red) but the true violet spectral wavelength as in the rainbow and outside the RGB (and, obviously, also CMYK) gamut?

I have a question about the matte-gloss strikethrough technique, where spot matte is followed by flood gloss, so that the gloss is neutralized over the matte areas. Basically, I want to know whether a special combination of matte and gloss coatings should be used, or if it works in general.

Thanks! I do know that there are many different kinds of Iriodin, which is why I mentioned that I actually need a pearlescent one. Probably, Iriodin 123 (Bright Lustre Satin) or whichever one has the brightest and smoothest lustre (no glitter, no interference, etc.) of white or silvery color. Leo
