problem initializing carriage motor thermoflex wide l kodak

It looks more like focus problem and not the carriage. Head is trying to focus on drum but as it can not it fails and reports an error, I can see that focus motor is moving the head - looks like no correct focus (distance) have been found. Is media loaded, what's the thickness of it? Can you...

    Kodak Trendsetter 800

If you have an access to SS and proper firmware version 'image stats' will show plate counter for device, and 'th2 "set sys "' will show exposure counter for the head itself. This is valid for xMCE electronics, for MPE use 'set state general' .

Trendsetter 800 II - stroke clock or imaging signal fault, check lc-bp cable

Hi PDB, did you check DB9 cable? This one transfers signals to the host. I guess head was removed from carriage to mount the debris nozzle. Check if 20 pins plug is connected to the right connector (second from the left). Good luck LoWang

    Plate definition for trendsetter

Hi Slammer, What is you are going to do? Create new media (different plate type) or create new plate format? If this is going to be new (undefined in firmware) plate type (Agfa, Fuji or negative/positive) then you need an access to firmware via SS (for older MPE machines 2.51 is fine) or serial...

    Help with Magnus 800

My guess is that there is a problem with cabling - maybe after z-stage movement head resets itself? Maybe the cable ties holds them too tight? Just a guess.... I would try to move the cables and observe head behavior (with red cheater).
