I was able to download it. It requests a license key which they say they'll email, but I haven't received the key in my inbox or spam folder.

I do indeed know what a record store is! In my sample piece we used our Colex flatbed cutter to trim two sides of each rectangle, then the score.crease wheel to score the 3rd side of the triangle. From there, a lot of manual folding upward of triangles to get the final look.

We did these on our Colex Sharpcut flatbed cutter/cnc. Cuts and scores. Slid some holographic stock underneath for a cool effect. I paid for the template online.

Roland XC-540 should do, but you'd have to haggle. They' going for about $13K USED now.

This is an interesting thread because we operate pretty much the same: PDF/Pitstop for digital color, Xerox Makereasy for digital b/w, and Trueflow for offset. Kodak Prinergy comes to mind, but I'm not certain about the cutter portion. Keep us updated.

Erik, I'm interested in your opinion. If G7 is a waste and distraction, what would you suggest people do instead? We haven't gone G7, in part because of cost, but if there are alternatives, I'm all ears.
