  • I'm at a small, liberal arts college in southeastern Kentucky in a town called Barbourville. We've got a couple of options besides Ikon if we want the 6501: an independent distributor or Danka, which is based in Knoxville. I was thinking Danka would be the better route, which they are owned by Konica. Is this different than buying from the manufacturer?

    Hi Missy Frederick

I am a KM production print specialist and can and do supply the machine in question. Ikon no longer supply our equipment and the safest bet when buying ANY equipment of this size is to go direct to the manufacturer of the product. The support you receive after you initial purchase in the main is more important to most over the next 5 years. If you need any assistance please feel free to respond to this message. Where are you based ?
