I'm upgrading my envelope printer to a Kirk-Rudy NetJet and am thinking about buying used. Does anyone have thoughts on buying used? I've heard some people to buy the base used but buy the heads new. What are your thoughts?
Thanks.
SoggyWinter I believe we were using that before, however we changed to use the EFI Fiery Imposition software so the processing is done on the Fiery controller instead of our computers. When the imposition was done on our computers, it was bogging them down a lot.
jwheeler awesome! Thank you so much for the feedback.
I have the EX-I 180 fiery.
No performance package
No booklet maker
Our volume is now more than the machine can keep up with so I'm trying to figure out if we should return this one for the 3100 or get another V180. Any thoughts on what you...
I'm curious to see what others are paying on their lease and their print charges. I'm not sure if mine are high or low but here they are:
Xerox V180 with V180EFI
60 month lease - $805.31
B&W Impression (all sizes) - 0.009

I'm curious how your process is for running postcard orders with a digital printer.
Here is how we do it and I'm wondering/thinking there is a more efficient way. This process is for each order, whether it is a 1,000 order run or 20,000.

They have AC in the office space. I'm finding out if the HVAC system will be large enough for the garage space too. My assumption is that it won't. If not, what type of AC unit do people generally put in a space like this?
My company is growing out of our current office space and I'm looking at large spaces. I know that temperature/humidity control is important for paper and machines so I wanted to see if people could provide some feedback about having machines and paper material stores and used in a garage (see...
I think it's time for my company to start using a W2P solution to keep up with our orders. We provide direct mail products to B2C only and all of the orders come in through our website. We have been using Woocommerce for the past 3 years which has been working well but now that orders are...
MailGuru Here are the answers to your questions:
1) 130/month
2) about 3,000 pieces
3) We built it out on Woocommerce. Here's the website if you're interested in taking a look - openlettermarketing.com. I think we could do something with an XML export to Excel.
4) I'm not sure about this. My...
