Canon USA Charging Shipping on Contract Supplies?

Are they over-charging in your bosses opinion? (Overlooking the fact that any charge is an over charge, in my opinion.) I got over $500 in freight for one shipment.

Canon USA Charging Shipping on Contract Supplies?

We have contracts with both Canon and Ricoh for Digital Presses. Canon recently declared that they are now charging shipping for toner orders (not rush) ordered under contract. This is in addition to the "Fuel Surcharge" that they are charging. I don't see how you can charge a surcharge on...

How Many Clicks Does Your Machine Have?

I have several Ricoh C9110's and 2 have past the 10 million mark each. Those are about 2.5-3 years old.

    Ricoh C9110 recommendations

We have several C9110's and like them... we have over 9 million clicks (18 million letter) on one machine alone. They run well, need service, but at that volume, anything would. A lot better then the C901's and they were better then anything from the big red X we had before (including an iGen...

    HP Indigo 7600 vs iGen 4 110...

Time for a follow up. I can give you bunches and bunches of details but I think the thing that says it best is..... The iGen was removed from service and Xerox picked it up in just about 48 hours from our demand. We are happy and finally getting work out without hemorrhaging money in the...

    User's feedback on Ricoh c901 GA+

We just completed install of two 901 GA+'s over the last week and a half. A couple of small issues but overall very satisfied. Already have about 130,000 12x18 clicks between the two in just over 12 days. I would say, don't bother with the higher end E82 rip. Our first machine was the floor...

    HP Indigo 7600 vs iGen 4 110...

Officially we were told that we should be able to get our workload done in one shift. We are finding, best case senario that it would be closer to 1.25 shifts if the machine behaves. If it doesn't, well, were past 2 on some days.

    HP Indigo 7600 vs iGen 4 110...

Yes, we had 3 8080's and it did indeed raise the bill that much with removing two (Xerox has left one 8080 till the end of the month and that is what almost everything is running on.) As for how much the iGen is getting used. If it's on it's either running or being serviced. We don't let it...

    HP Indigo 7600 vs iGen 4 110...

Ok, two things I forgot. Power bill went up about $1300/month since install and today the Executive Customer Relations Group lady outright asked me what would be acceptable given the fact that Xerox can't apparently live up to the CED, or the promises made in the sales cycle.

    HP Indigo 7600 vs iGen 4 110...

Ok, time for an update... Since I have not been non-disclosed on this I can speak freely about how our install has gone. First let me say the Arizona Team as a whole for Xerox leaves a lot to be desired. The sales team sold us an allegedly "gently used" iGen 4 110. (Please note: I cannot go...

    Ikon cpp500

Don't know for sure... It was a rebranded Konica Minolta C500 so if you could find that you should be good... I'm thinking it was around 2007 when discontinued as it was replaced by the KM C6500... Going off memory... Hope this helps.

    Registration/solids on Xerox 800 and 1000

I had three DC5000's and loved them in comparison to anything I've touched since. We were going to replace them with a 1000 but after the install the 1000 was so buggy and the registration was so bad that it was returned under the CED with no real pushback from Xerox. It has been over a year...

    HP Indigo 7600 vs iGen 4 110...

On the 28th of February Xerox Customer Relations Group received a letter legally executing our "Total Satisfaction Guarantee" on all three machines. We have not heard a peep on it yet. Xerox just left us with an IGen proposal. Equipment is good, Click is not great (I've been non-disclosed so...

    HP Indigo 7600 vs iGen 4 110...

We already have three Xerox 8080's and are losing our butts. Today for example. One unit was down from Friday, tech will be out by 10:00am. 12:30pm the tech showed up. Another machine had died by that time. First gets "repaired" and tech moves to second, we try job on first and it's still...

    HP Indigo 7600 vs iGen 4 110...

We are color correct, we have tried Match Assure (Xerox's product), CMI Color Management, and Profile Maker 5. The problem is not creating the profile, it's that the machines seem to swing wildly when turned off.
