I have the 3200 as well. It's a nice backup to my 6501, that's all. It's also good to have for short run envelopes.

We have printed letterheads on our backup Canon IR 3200 without a customer complaint for many years. Just printed 2000 full color, ran 11 x 17 2 up, and it's the third time this company has ordered from us. It also runs envelopes, painstakingly.

What makes you think c6501 can't run gloss stock?

I was faced with the same decision - C6501, 262, C1 - and went with the C6501. The Imagepress offered exceptional quality and I knew Canon in my area offered great service (I already have them servicing my IR 600, Ir 7200 and color 3200 machines.) It was just too slow running color at 14 ppm...

Went with the agreement plus the addendum guaranteeing the one-click charge etc. Now both agreements state that they supercede the other. That would be interesting if anything ever became of it.

Just got my new contracts on older equipment that we own outright - -10% increase.

I've always been locked in long term - 5 years - with new equipment bought or leased. Older stuff does have increases. 11 x 17s one click, always.

I think (hope) I have this cleared up. The branch manager, the tech manager, the sales manager, and myself are all signing an addendum and it's for the entire 5-year term of the maintenance agreement.
