What calibration procedures are you using? Over the last 2 years, we were shown 3 different processes by different trainers. We finaly have one that works for us. What calibration software are you using?

What are you doing for color managment on the c7000? If your not calibrating daily, you will have color shift.

Look at colordyne. Same box as the rena and a bit cheaper. We've had one for about 4 months and are pleased with it. Get the rip. You can get pretty close on most colors. Some pantones are just not reachable. We've replaced about 75% of our offset with this. CJ PM me if you want my reps...

Yes, that is a issue for us on uncoated more than coated.

Thats it, if your cutting that way, you should be fine.

The short answer is no. We had a counter issue with our xerox 252. Xerox ended up replacing alot of parts, rip etc.. in talking to him, he said the counter was located in like 3 different pieces of software/hardware on the machine so people can't do exactly what your asking.

Regarding toner flaking. Use a dust cut to finish those pieces.

At one point, I believe it was the machine. That said, with more advanced training, not only can we help diagnose the issues, we can see them developing. Makeing for much better uptime.

I'm not sure what that means. We do full color calibrations daily(sometimes more than once a day). We profile our stocks and are now using G7 methodolgy for color. Are you refering to general reliability?

You need to discuss ORU training if your not confident in your local service.

I think you may be refering to gloss dropoff. Is this mostly visable on gloss sheets? Does it do it through the entire run or on the first few sheets?

I completely agree. We are not paying for the G7 master printer certification. But we are using G7 methodolgy to manage our color. Huge improvment.
