Anyone familiar with older Indigo 1000's? I'm looking at one with an upgraded rip an a few other things. How are they on consumables and reliability? Any other input would be great! Thanks!

I'm new to this biz and I'm trying to get a feel for 13x19 card stocks - 10, 12 & 14 point. I'm sure there are different finishes and such - just trying to get a feel for the cost per sheet. We'll buy it by the skid load if this helps the price.

Agreed- we're merely looking at something to help build up that end of our business for the time being and then either move to a Heidelberg QM DI, or some other small 4 colour press.

The acuity and arizona are the exact same machine. Fuji just relabels it as there own.

We're looking at getting an entry level press, and the thought of getting a 2 colour press to build up a work flow, and then migrating to a full four colour press in a bit. Would this work? I'd imagine we need a good press operator, but is it do-able? Thanks in advance!

O really? I was under the impression that the 240 can not do 16point? I thought it could only do 12 point?
