I have Xerox Versant 2100 for 4 Month i have this issu when i printing Background come with Bands and line as this sample 50% of 4 color

We've occasionally experienced similar conditions on our KM C4080... the thin horizontal lines were corona related and the vertical banding was drum related. Assuming you have a full service click contract, your technician should easily resolve both within 24 hours. In the meantime, you could...

    Upgrading from Xerox V180. Options?

The "official count" is the number of clicks you are charged for on an average month. Ideally broken down into Colour clicks and B/W clicks That's what @PricelineNegotiator was asking

    Upgrading from Xerox V180. Options?

For 200k monthly volume, irrespective of manufacturer, IMO you'd be better off spreading the load across two machines, to give redundancy. EDIT: my comment above not applicable in this instance now, since the OP and I posted simultaneously!

    Upgrading from Xerox V180. Options?

I meant at the start of a long job, particularly where the substrate in given tray/s has changed. To be honest, it holds up pretty well when replenishing the same substrates in the same trays. Perhaps I’m slightly OCD but we often do jobs like tent cards where it’s good not to be even a...

    Upgrading from Xerox V180. Options?

The C5501 was one of KM's very early (possibly the first) production machines, launched in 2008. So much has changed in the past 15 years, and the turning point was the introduction of the C1060/C1070 in 2014, those machines were a game changer. The current models (C4070/C4080) are another three...

A4 stitched booklet to A5 folder

Similar discussion here from a few months ago. Just an opinion, but I think the output makes for an ugly product - when unfolded and read by the consumer, the product is horrible - the pages don't turn easily at all. If ever asked for this, we would persuade the buyer to have an A5 booklet...

    Fuji will be demoing a B2 Irridesse/Revoria

I’ve never understood why this hasn’t been done on a dry toner production machine before. Perhaps I’m being over simplistic in thinking the R&D would be minimal, as everything would just be upscaled?

Switched Network Adapters and now licensing isn't working

I’m thinking the same as @kyle that it’s an IP address mismatch. We have a couple of authentications that fail if our main fibre connection is down, and the ADSL failover has kicked in, as the routers obviously have different static IP addresses

Accurio label 190 And metas digital label finisher.

No, I simply hijacked your advertisement to touch on more detail about the Accuriolabel range. The subsequent versions 230/400 are much evolved.

Accurio label 190 And metas digital label finisher.

That was KM’s first foray into roll fed labels, it’s worth checking out the more evolved Accuriolabel 230, which does appear on the refurb market from time to time, as shops upgrade to the current, faster Accuriolabel 400.

    Salesman Commission...

Reward should be greater for successful conversion of targeted prospects, than ongoing business, which should be tapered reducing over time. Keep the sales team hungry whilst keeping targets worthwhile and achievable with hard work. It’s a fine balance.

Looking for a digital printer & digital cutting solution

Buy one million die cut plant tag pieces at a time, very cheaply, with all the standard colour content printed, logo etc and a blank panel for personalisation. Minimise your SKUs - don't have 10 label shapes because it would be nice, when three would suffice. Don't think consumer inkjet. Have...

Looking for a digital printer & digital cutting solution

We run synthetic substrate from Kernow Coatings on our KM C4080 and as @SoggyWinter rightly points out, static is a major consideration. Typically we leave the "brick" for a couple of days before putting it through the laminator and/or Veloblade digital die cutter. This allows sufficient...

    Konica vs Xerox?

In light of this machine has got to be the one to go. If you have no fallback, you absolutely need to keep the most reliable machine.
