Intec SC6000 / Morgana ColorCut Digital Die Cutter

Thanks. I almost bought an SC6500, but the creasing handicap would have killed 1/2 of my intended use. I'd imagine these machines are great for short run stickers though.

Intec SC6000 / Morgana ColorCut Digital Die Cutter

You can pickup a 5x5ft Summa or Colex flatbed with creasing, cutting, and vaccuum holddown for around $60k if you time the promotions well.

Used Xerox strategy - Color 1000i

Fuji renamed the big versant to the Revoria PC1100. I don't know what has changed and what has not changed beyond the front panel and device user interface being different and Fuji pushing their own RIP.

Used Xerox strategy - Color 1000i

Nice. Is there a formal process that a Xerox customer can request, beyond the key operator training, a process that would get customer service manual access and the ability to order any parts SKU?

Used Xerox strategy - Color 1000i

Agreed. My premise for this post is that I'm better off with eBay, than gambling on a new machine lease and service.

Used Xerox strategy - Color 1000i

I got notified that our V3100 will be end of parts and toner in a few months. I speculate that our spike in spare parts consumption (2nd BTRs, fuser belts, fuser, etc) got flagged and we are well past our 60 month lease expiration. The concerns with leasing new equipment are being forced into...

Xerox Versant 3100 and 180 end of support

The leases here convert to month to month until terminated. I don't want to ask through the normal channels out of concern for inviting hard sell tactics, including termination.

Does anyone know when the Xerox Versant 3100 and 180 go end of support in the US?

Ink and envelope. My cost is 4-5 cents per envelope for black toner and the blank.

Is there reflective sheeting for dry toner?

Ask your media suppliers about toner compatible foil cutsheet media. I'd be sketched out about vinyl stretching and jamming from fuser heat and mechanical torment from the direction changes and rollers in a toner press. It looks like you have a number of very capable wide format printers...

    Printing variable data envelopes

$25 if the address merge takes me under 10 minutes. If I'm fixing the list in Excel or doing anything exotic like variable printing different data sets on different layers of carbonless, the cost goes up. We bill time at $105/hr. The customers are getting their time saved by my team's knowledge...

Alternatives to UD310, Automatic hang tag threading machines

Thermotype's rotary diecutter may be less than that. They make good hardware and are US based. Would you be comfortable getting a used rotary diecutter? I've seen them auction for under $30,000 USD.

    Vivid MCC-35AS slitter/cutter/creaser

Look into getting your Duplo 615 serviced/tuned up/parts replaced and compare that cost vs a new machine of any kind. The Vivid SCC does not appear to have Windows based job config program, which would be a deal breaker for me from a time saving perspective. I am not familiar with Vivid equipment.
