    So is ArtPro+ the new…

So looks like ArtPro+ is likely the new unified PDF editor? AE 14 will still have full versions of PackEdge 14 and ArtPro 14. Esko has listed what's new in AE14 on a link at the top of help.esko.com page. Put can't find anything if Neo is sticking around? And reading the migrating from Nexus...

Would like to do this in AE...

You printed individual separations, not a composite, and they came out in color? Example: If the PDF has 4 colors: Cyan, Pantone 032 Red, Black, Pantone 293 Blue, each of those separation actually prints in that color, when printing separations. In my original post there is a screen capture from...

Would like to do this in AE...

This does not print my tiff's in color to my color laser printer as stated in my original post. We like to print out the separations in color because it's a great visual reference for the platemaker.

Would like to do this in AE...

OK. It's bringing the tiffs back at a very low resolution. Almost un-readable. And not in color. I read the User guide/support but it is not very helpful. I'm trying to bring back the tiffs and print each tiff separation in the color that it is to my color laser printer. Example: tiff...

That worked perfectly! Not! Thanks for the link from someone who hasn't posted in four years.

Would like to do this in AE...

Ok. That seems to be a start. How do I get the 1-bit TIIFs that are written by my Nexus RIP and not the AE Box back to AE?

Would like to do this in AE...

Would love to be able to print 1-bit TIIFs in color to our color laser printer as we did in Nexus. (see screen capture) We have to send a PDF to Nexus to do this.

Deskpack and Illustrator CC2014 - Waiting on Esko, AGAIN!

Amen! And I love using car analogies: "Your car has a recall on it that might cause the wheels to fall off, but the parts won't be ready for another 7-9 months while we find someone to manufacture the new part."

Deskpack and Illustrator CC2014 - Waiting on Esko, AGAIN!

Does not surprise me one bit that DeskPack is not ready. When CS6 was released it took "them" a full 9 months to update DeskPack. Suite 14 upgrade? But it's probably not compatible with something... Unified PDF editor that "they" were talking about 2 years ago... nope... or is it ArtPro+ that...

Deskpack and Illustrator CC2014 - Waiting on Esko, AGAIN!

Have you installed CC2014? I didn't think that CC2014 was a "re-write" for plug-ins. I guess it time to bombard support/sales guy with questions on WHY?

Do you think Esko will be ready for...

So do you think Esko will be ready for Mac OS Yosemite? Or are we gonna have to wait 9 months like always?

DeskPack Ink manager bug remains unresolved

Esko did outsource DeskPack. That's why it took "them" a full 9 months to update DP for CS6. See, http://printplanet.com/forums/esko/29711-deskpack-suite12-rollout-date/2#post189890 They outsourced it and the company they outsourced it to dropped the ball. They might now do it themselves? Just...

DeskPack Ink manager bug remains unresolved

Esko know about it. That's why there is a KB article! Esko farms out DP software to a third party. It will be awhile before it's fixed...

True 0.4% highlight dot in flexo printed clear poly? Sure we can do that!

Been in Flexo, w/ NX Plates, for a while now. Those dots will never hold up. They will be dipping into the anilox and start splattering allover the place, as some of them are now doing. We use Hybird screening and had to increase the micron to get the dots to be consistence, for either stock of...

    Artpro Warping

If it is an Illustrator file shouldn't Effect > Warp > Arc.. work? Just need to know the degree of Arc. Do it all the time. After it looks good in the Arc I expand all elements and save out a second file.
