    Old plate processor.

Hi all! Has anybody managed to use a film to plate processor with positive ctp plates? We have a Lastra Attrezzature SM90,with all controls available-temperature,speed,replenishment- but can't make it work right. I'd like to know first -before i get into any details - just this If anyone has...

    copy layout problem

Hi all! Some times, when i open as a copy a layout and assign new pages to it,page assignment changes to the ''master'' layout as well, without any warning from cockpit! As i said this doesn't happen every time i open a layout as a copy, and i can't figure out if it's related to something else or...

    ineo+ 284e and vdp software

@Stephen Marsh Didn't try that out yet,but i think it applies to cs2 as well. Thanks anyway! @jmstone I'm asking about the rip out of plain curiosity. I just don't know if you need one for printing -a lot of- numbers to a photocopier. Now you mention slow printing do you think there could be...

    ineo+ 284e and vdp software

What we usually do is numbering coupons. There could be as much as ten different coupons in a single-printer- sheet,or any combination you can think of,(three of coupon A,two of coupon B,one of coupon C and four of coupon D for example. And it could be as much as 10 different kind of sheets...

    XP's no longer supported

Hi all! Not sure if it's on the right section -IT- but it's the heidelberg soft i'm worried about mostly. We run prepress manager 2011-server,meta and shooter- on 2008 server and win7 dell pc's. On the other hand the cockpit client, signa, acrobat pro and pitstop-where 95% of daily tasks is...

    supra lasers

nope, the abezeta-not sure i'm spelling them right- we currently use are bluish too-less blue than the chinese that caused the problem-

    supra lasers

No supra error after all. To make a long story short,in order to use our old analogue plate developer with new positive ctp plates we had to cut down speed a lot,so a certain manufactures plates produced so much powder the vacuum could not suck and it covered everything inside the ctp,f*n blue...

    Azura alternative plates.

That could be it,i'll try and clean as much as i can the pipes and if the problem fades then i'll have something to start with. The file i uploaded is in its original size, and since the spots can be cleaned i have excluded the ctp causing the problem option!

    Azura alternative plates.

Don't think these spots come from the ctp,-then you never know- We process azura plates on it's own cp85 processor with minor problems, and the positives on our old conventional lastra,so no azura goo to deal with! You're right on the maintenance cycle, but at least for the cp85 cleaning it...

    Azura alternative plates.

ok here's an example! Alith7,it's not the batch, friday's plates looked like the sample above, today's plates came out clean-from the same box-.... The processor is supposed to be cleaned every 1000 plates,we processed less than half since the last maintenance and the gum rollers are cleaned...

    Azura alternative plates.

tom,as i wrote above we were using the ts plates with no problems at all. We went towards positive plates due to financial reasons. Suprasetter has a very capable vacuum as long as you use it within ''some'' standards.Plates like the ones that caused the problem are supposed to be imaged above...

    Azura alternative plates.

update: After some ''testing'' and experimenting,we lowered the drum speed to 200rpm's,otherwise the plates did not developed right on our conventional Lastra attrezzature sm90 processor. (The emulsion wasn't completely washed away-although to the naked eye the plate was clean- and patches were...

    offset sealer?????

You must be right,in our language aqueous coating is called like ''water varnish'' and considered as varnish. We'll figure out tomorrow, thanks!

    offset sealer?????

Halo! Anybody knows what ''offset sealer'' is? First i thought it was an elegant way to say varnish, but then lower in the job specs, varnish was described as ''varnish'' so the sealer must be something else! Have a look if you please... Finished size: 21x29,7 Text: 152 pages printed 4+4...

    supra lasers

*update* Merry Christmas to you, all! Yesterday the platesetter gave a 5520 ''the drum was not initialized correctly'' on start up. After 2 or 3-or 4- reboots the error was fixed but when trying to write a job,the plates came out clean-no platesetter error but on the printmanager there was an...
