    there was never a service or part book for the Pro Cut cutters. When you say intialize you saying the back gage isnt moving? They were made by Microcut for Procut and from what I understand are not supported anymore because of the age. Explain more on the issue Ill try.

    Old Challenge cutter

    Have a old blue 30.5 cutter. Cut/clamp operation runs fine but foot pedal only brings clamp down 1/4". Enough to where the plunger in the rear catches it. If i unscrew the tension spring the clamp drifts and jumps back up.

    What about instead of centering the job run it with a lead cut of 3/4" and the tail of 1/4". Yes if things are printed too close to the edges or tail edge you can get bad cuts. Make sure your rollers are clean.
