    illus trapping and overprint

I watched the demo movie and PowerTrapper looks great. Are there any competitors to this product? just want to check them all before spending $6200. (I see that Esko also makes Instant Trapper, but i would want the full features of Power Trapper.)

    C6501 Issues

You bought what was inexpensive, not what was the best. There are limitations with any copier... oops "digital press". But for the money the Konica does a good job. Just remember it's no where near high end quality, be sure to educate the sales staff of its limits.

    Creo Brisque 5.1 value?

i think you need a license code from Kodak to use it and activate any extra features. Brisque is end of life this year so its probably worthless.

Still sorting through sh** pile of disks to find version that matches whats currently installed. I just may have to try that...

    C6500P with osX 10.6

Just got a new MacPro running 10.6.4. I can't get virtual printers to work from Creo rip v.2 on the Konica Minolta 6500, since apple talk is no longer supported in osX 10.6. Tried IP printers and LPD & IPP protocols but couldn't get them to work. Anyone printing to the Creo rip from a mac...

Movin' from prepress to Graphic design

I have a design degree and i'm in printing because they only designers making money are on their own (minus some big firms of course) and i don't want that pressure. I suggest keeping the steady prepress paycheck and start out with freelance work to see if you can build up a client base. Or see...
