I have a Canon 3200 and need to run a heavier vinyl or poly material that can be UV coated thru it. Is there anything out there that anyone could recommend? It needs to be around 11-12Pt thickness.

Unfortunately Ubertech is right. To get a good quality machine that will produce consistent, sellable quality you will probably be into it more than $20m.

We have always used the Tec coating.

RGPW is right. If you have a good operator you can run over 5000 an hr. We averaged about 7m hr. when the paper was good and the planets were aligned.

We have ran 2 of the 3 presses that you are looking at. The 3302 and the QM are both good machines and produce excellent quality. They are reliable when maintained properly and can hold good solids. I dont know alot about the Printmaster but have also heard good things.

We just installed a VIM DTP Inkjet system about a month ago. So far, great system. We produce plates for our Ryobi 2800, 3200 and Komori 226. Registration is excellent and the Support has been outstanding. Might want to check them out also. Just my 2 cents worth! Good Luck!!
