totally agree gaz. Saves a huge amount of time when the prepress guys know the whys and what fors through and through, and deliver useable plates all the time.

Hi all Thanks for great replies. Ive made some changes, and am seeing some good results. I have different packings and reducing some inks with preliminary success. Nothings ever going to be perfect though, but im happy if i can just keep it going and its 90% there. thanks again

yes i have had some alteration with the packing the plate option. Im leaning towards replacing the perma packing with thicker caliper stuff on the last unit so its plates on plates off still. it will be better but not perfect. i hate the variability, that cant be managed or contolled. cheers all

Im not sure about price but i like varn envirowash. It does a good job, and doesnt smell like older style kero or HC washes. 0r v-120 works well too. Ive tried other enviro type products, some were ok, some werent. Varn seems to be consistantly good.
