    Xante Impressia Enterprise Feeder woes

Was the repair guy a Xante dealer? Maybe they only sell to dealers.

    Used production printers

Probably but where can you get a used one where that wouldn't be the case? Except from a Ricoh dealer maybe?

    Looking for Ricoh 8110s help

Are the tabs coated or uncoated? What kind are they? Is there any printing on the tab that looks good? Usually adjusting the trailing edge transfer current and distance in the paper catalog will get it to fill in but I have had some that just don't work. I had a place with mylar coated ones from...

Face Up and face down efficiency

On all of the Ricoh stuff they sell as production face up is straight through. I have worked on some kodak and on those face down is straight through.

Face Up and face down efficiency

It will depend on the printer. Some machines face down is straight through.

Production BW: KM vs Ricoh vs Canon

Aside from the getting fired part I have never considered doing anything on the side because of the liability as in there is a problem I come and fix the problem, it reoccurs and I am expected to come back for free. Plus on the little hp desktop type printers I see parts online for sale but on...

    Canon Vario Print 140

You can get a 136 ppm version of the Ricoh. The Canon 140 would only be 4 ppm faster unless you are seeing slowdown and the machine isn't running at the full speed. Gotta move up to the varioprint 6000 series for a big increase :-) or more machines :-)

    Ricoh C7100 density/saturation issues

Do you move jobs from one Fiery to the other? I have seen that mess with the paper catalog

    Ricoh C7100 density/saturation issues

I don't think you can be locked out of specific things it is just you can access skilled operators or not. When I couldn't run developer refresh it was because of a toner near end or waste toner bottle.near full.

Need a Machine for Small Volume Envelope Printing

I just assumed you had a Fiery I didn't think they sold the 5100 without one. You still can do envelopes without it.

Need a Machine for Small Volume Envelope Printing

What size is the envelope? They normally need to be fed long edge feed with the flap open.

    Ricoh C9200+C7200 v Xerox Iridesse

Did you get to demo the Ricoh machines in person? See if they will give you some existing 9200/7200 or 9100/7100 customers in the area you can visit. What do you have now?

Need a Machine for Small Volume Envelope Printing

You have this machine? https://www.ricoh-usa.com/en/products/pd/pro-c5100s-color-laser-production-printer/_/R-404493 I have people that run many envelopes on those. You need to the smaller ones like #10 with the flap open and disable double feed detection. What issue do you have? I see...

ES-2000 - Compatible with Multiple Machines?

You should be able to use it to calibrate any machine. I know I have used spectrophotometers from other brand machines on mine.

Does the Fiery shutdown with the printer when you hit the power button on the printer?

Ricoh 9100: Slip Sheets and Speed

Have you tried setting 103, and 104 in the advanced paper settings to 7? It's fusing temp to feed for heating and pressure.

How do you achive your Fiery jobs

I guess I wasn't referring to any post just putting crap out there :-) I get people archiving to the internal space and thinking their jobs are backed up.

How do you achive your Fiery jobs

You can archive to the internal drive, an external drive, or a network location. I would not really consider archiving to the internal drive a backup since when the Fiery crashes you will lose all the jobs anyway. On the archive tab settings you can manage the locations. You also can run...
