I don't understand. Don't the applications reside on your hard drive like any other program? the Cloud aspect is simply licensing and ease of upgrades...isn't that correct? Why would CC behave any differently if you were using CS before?
My other concern would be that this is a proprietary system with proprietary substrate. This day and age anything can happen...what about support and availability of the film. That would be a concern...how many installations are there out there?

This is correct...something is set for both...whether a group, a single object of a group, etc., it can get tricky finding the little buggers sometimes.
