    File management

We employ a similar structure here, which is important with several operators, potentially across different shifts. Any form of organization like this is only as good as the people using it, and willing to abide by the setup however. Oh, and Welcome to the Forums!

    Screen Capture with Mac Keyboard

It's a Mac keyboard, but on Windows box - that key combo won't work. Sadly. A third party app is the only way to, at least there are tons of free ones out there!

Other Photobook Binding Solution like Powis Parker and Fastbind

Are the last 2 replies vendors? If there's some alternative binding solutions being offered, it would be nice to post them here for the benefit of the Community.

    SCREEN DT-S1045AI Drum Scanner

This a NON-working unit, although it might serve somebody for parts. Maybe you need extra drums or lamps, or something really heavy to hold open a door? Pics here if interested. - 100-8,000 lines per inch - SCSI Interface - RGB: 24 or 48 bit/ CMYK: 32 bit/Grayscale: 8 bit - Transparency or...

    Forum Themes

Are there any different themes loaded that we can choose from? I can't seem to see a difference once I've read the topics in one area, shouldn't that big, blue box fade out when all the topics are read? Oh, and I like this under the name in the upper right: You last visited: 12-31-1969 at...

    Screen Capture with Mac Keyboard

I found a cool Free app called Screenshot Pilot that's easy to use & has a nice range of ways to capture various sections.

Additional HP Indigo 5000 information required

Since they posted once, in March, and haven't returned - they've either: A) Learned it all & don't need us. - or - B) Given up and moved on to fast-food service. I'd wager the latter. ;)

Wanting to start printshop at home

Re: Wanting to start printshop at home "Is the day of the old fashioned quick print shop gone?" Interestingly enough, there's a HUGE resurgence in lettershops right now. Particularly small, independently run operations that do short-run custom work or boutique stuff. I keep coming across them...

    HP Indigo 5500

Re: HP Indigo 5500 We're running a 5500 Model, and speaking for quality & consistency - it's largely impacted by how reliable & diligent your operator is. Keep up on maintenance, much of it daily, and it should treat you well. We've run into a few issues with field upgrades taking us down...

    Illustrator ruler showing

Re: Illustrator ruler showing You know, I don't think you can in CS3. The closest thing I've seen is [this tip|http://creativebits.org/illustrator_cs3_new_document_profiles] but it involves using the horrible Welcome Screen. I'd rather just hit CMD+R instead.

    Yours Truley Plugin_INDIGO 5000

Re: Yours Truley Plugin_INDIGO 5000 Interesting, we're only running YTD in Quark 6 & InDesign 2 at the moment. We have the updated versions of Quark & InDesign but I didn't see anything spectacular about the YTD Plug-in update that warranted the price that HP is asking. As for the .csv file...

    What would you offer?

Re: What would you offer? Know of any? Good companies like that I mean, because more & more - if you don't ask, beg & threaten there's an amazing shortage of money these days. We just had our Review Forms sent around, and when I asked if these would be used to evaluate raises, the answer was...

Re: Tired of getting Zapped! Pick-up a cheap Anti-static wrist strap, like computer repair people wear. Should cost less than $10, and ought to do the trick. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16899888207

    Acrobat 8 UI

Re: Acrobat 8 UI Acrobat is turning into a bloated POS, plain & simple. Adobe needs to split the application into a few versions, take all the crap out of the Printing Version & likewise for an Office Version and stop saddling us with garbage we'll never need or use. And yes, fix the damned...

Additional HP Indigo 5000 information required

Re: Additional HP Indigo 5000 information required I've never found very many Free resources for Indigo information. There's the GUA Forums, but they're pretty empty. You could try and get a Trial Membership to DScoop, it's around $595 for a year but that includes many features for sales staff...
