Maybe I am mistaken but I feel most of these companies are ripping companies off. In some cases it makes sense when they are doing 7+ figures of business online and need a much higher level of service and support. I am looking for something more entry level until I get to that point.

So far the cheapest solution I have found is goprint2. But their solution is running $50/mo. I was hoping to find something $20/mo or less.

Where can I get one of these on the used market? I plan to get perfect binder.

Thanks. How long do you think the C6100 will last in terms of impressions? The figure I heard for C6000 was 8M. Can the C6100 do much more considering its monthly duty cycle is much, much higher -2M/month? If it did 2M per month for 3 years thats 72M impressions.

I see cheap web to print systems with ecommerce storefront for packaging industry. We only have two basic job types: books and card stock. Looking for a complete end to end solution. Can anyone point me in the right direction as I am completely new to web to print?

I don't need the features. Sending print jobs should be a painless and seemless process. Command workstation would crash on us when sending huge illustrator files, especially graphic intensive books (alot of what we do). I hate paying for something out of my pocket and getting second rate product.

Thanks for posting your impressions. I've been very curious about other manufacturers especially the versant line but we have been a KM shop for 20+ years. I never have time to visit other manufacturers and see what they are offering.

I'm running into same issue. For me the fiery is cheaper but I prefer the simplicity of KM controller. I have had too many issues with fiery's going down in the past. I just dont understand why the KM controller is soo expensive. When they first marketted it, it was a super cheap alternative.

Maybe I have simplistic thinking but after 10+ years I would expect these companies to develop a mature product. The way people describe air assist paper feed it seems like paper handling input issues would be resolved. I hate seeing thousands of dollars going every month for no reason.
