Im going to have to send my paper guy a nice Christmas gift because so far he has came through in some clutch situations for me paper wise. Haven't ran out and he's been able to fill some larger orders for us that we dont normally do.

Our supplier is on pretty strict allotments. I went though 9k sheets of 16pt last month and needing it again this month. dont know if he is gonna be able to come through for me or not. Good thing most of our stuff is run on 20lb

Call your local tech and/or rep. Tech will probably have access to a special stock of drums that are set aside and can at least keep you running.

I wouldn't doubt that cost at all. I knew of a Xerox customer that had to have a fiery replaced. Big bucks there but covered under contract. We've had ours reloaded with software once or twice. Our old 1000i had to start having circuit boards replaced on it. I can only imagine the cost of them.

Anytime I get a “I need it today or tomorrow” I generally tack on $50 rush fee unless it’s like a $5 job or something like that. Some take it and others give the ole “ill figure it out another way”

If your still having problems with this machine, why dont you pay for someone like me to come over and figure things out for you? If your honestly spending as much time as you say on trying to get this machine to work, a plane ticket and a few nights in a hotel would make you come out waayyyyy...
