Riso Comcolor GD 7330 aftermarket ink..worth it or not?

Define what a page is. What was the approximate cost of the Riso and monthly?

Riso Comcolor GD 7330 aftermarket ink..worth it or not?

Somewhat, yes. OEM is a proprietary oil based, pigmented ink produced in Japan. So it is going to be more expensive than water based ink produced in China. But Riso has always targeted schools, government, nonprofits, etc. on the premise of bringing color printing inhouse for much less cost than...

Riso Comcolor GD 7330 aftermarket ink..worth it or not?

I don't know of any aftermarket inks that are the same as the OEM oil based ink. However, there are a few good inks and you may even like them better. The important thing is quality control. You don't want a clogged head because the pigments are too coarse. I would only trust Forbes inks. USA...

It's always the fuser. Sneeze? Replace the fuser. Full moon? Replace the fuser.

4/0 $304.18 4/4 add $64.38 That is full retail price. For a nonprofit I would give up to 15% discount, depending on the nonprofit. At 15% that would make the final price $258.55.

    CWS ignoring face up delivery

Do you have this option? Have you tried checked and unchecked? I have had jobs do very strange things until I check, and sometimes uncheck this option.

EOL on Xerox Iridesse Coming Soon....

Duplex is limited to 300 gsm. Get the Kyocera from Ricoh though. Everything but the engine is theirs (9200) and they offer a service contract. MCS is pay as you go "shared maintenance". Still uncoated only.

BCC Mail Manager FS Speed Issues

I have had many of those issues as well, including selectivities being corrupted. The constant waiting is much more frustrating for me.

BCC Mail Manager FS Speed Issues

A year ago I had no issues with MM speed. When they switched from BDE to TDBF in June, the bottom fell out. We are using a WD 570 which is slower, but less likely to hit thermal throttling.

BCC Mail Manager FS Speed Issues

Everyone had very poor performance after the switch. It has greatly improved over several updates, but nowhere near the performance before the switch. I'm going to talk to some other local shops to see if they have any tricks.

BCC Mail Manager FS Speed Issues

Already thought of that, but no voip either. We have a wireless pbx. Performance on other tasks and software is usually 850 Mbps or better from that server. BCC isn't that helpful. From what I can tell, they picked a replacement engine that was never designed to handle data of that scale. It has...

BCC Mail Manager FS Speed Issues

Has anyone else been having speed issues with MM since the database engine switch? We have optimized everything and it just hits brick walls on data transfer. It's not the network. The network achieves 850+ Mbps with no problem. MM seems to hit a wall at about 53 Mbps on many read situations...

Custom perforated paper in large quantity

Yes, gets slit to 8.5 on the folder. We have been converting customers from 8.5x14 to 8.5x13 wherever possible. 14 inch is such an inefficient sheet for digital. The machine speed is only 10 sheets slower for 17 inch and you get 2-out. So 71ppm vs 122ppm 2-up and slit. We found a print partner...
