thanks all for the insights. The previous shop I worked at had a Ricoh 7100 and 7110, like you Lorenzo, I was unimpressed. And while I found swapping out the fifth stations to be not a big deal technically, tho it took too long, my team was overwhelmed and always asked me to do it.

Does it resemble a UV coat? My company is looking to upgrade from the v80, so just wondering about capabilities. Does the v280 have a fifth slot for specialty toner or do I have to swap components out each time? thanks!

i'm guessing this goes offset? and the primary need is to convert RGB black to cmyK? If I was printing them on digital presses, I wouldn't preflight at all, since it's microsoft word. And also... the preflight at your shop removes the embed? seems odd? no way to install 32-bit Acrobat?

fyi fwiw, these worked, however, they do not connect 'permanently' to the reel. The tabs on the adapter don't connect, but do insert, so the reel can go backwards and forwards as the printer needs. The only issue with these are that they get stuck in the core when you change rolls. This isn't...
