It's the punch. Those GBC punches are terrible. I've used them on multiple machines in the last 15 years and they always jam and mispunch.

I highly doubt there's an official Linux driver for a production printer. Maybe Mac if you're super against Windows.

I find for some reason envelopes tend to print straighter if I run them with the flap towards me. I also rarely have much luck feeding them from the short edge so I generally run everything lengthwise. It takes longer, but it's worth it to avoid the misfeeds and doubles.

In my opinion, no. Windows Defender works fine, plus Windows is more "stupid proof" when it comes to accidentally installing malicious software. On top of that, if something is malicious enough to get past both of those Norton isn't going to catch it either.
