Sorry, I don't think the PX300 has the 2nd BTR, according to Xerox this is replaced on BOTH PX300 and PX500 with the new Bias Transfer Belt https://www.xerox.ca/digital-printing/latest/PX3BR-01C.pdf

We had them at one point on our V80 but if I remember it caused other marks and they were removed shortly after, maybe they didn't install them correctly on ours.

I've never heard of the KMs having the 2nd btr issue but I'd get some test prints before you commit. The KMs have a much more gloss finish to it's toner. May not suit your products especially if you're planning on spreading loads between the KM and Xeroxs.

Just a note for those who change 2nd BTR themselves on v280. Talking to tech recently and they said it's just been recommended the counter be reset when replacing the 2nd BTR on the V280, not something that needed doing previously. Apparently the machine adjusts voltages based on the counter...

v280 is still a great machine imo. But there could be a saving to be made in upgrading. New Lease Payment vs (current click charge - new click charge) * average monthly volume

Yeh, you'd want to be sure you need it, definitely not an impulse option. I see the range is now rated speed as standard, no longer a performance upgrade option.
