    I also think that part of the problem is that current designers have 95% web projects and 5% print projects. They are used to RGB, not needing bleeds, 72-dpi is acceptable. It's not that they don't care (as mentioned earlier) it is that they weren't taught. I've been in prepress for 35+ years...

    I would place more of the ownership on the user of the application rather than the application itself. Harbor Freight does not make the best tools available but I would not blame them rather than the mechanic that botched the valve job.

    Switch from Adobe to Affinity...?

    This was all of Pantone's doing. They blame is on a "disagreement" with Adobe. As both X-Rite and Pantone (X-Rite owns Pantone) are selling less and less hardware, they needed a revenue stream. Bam! Let's start a subscription service like every other company on the face of the earth.

    Thank you so very much for your input. We don't use Geometry Editor. We're using Acrobat 2024.003.20180. I am very new to Prinergy althoug I have been in the business since 1988. I've use Scitex, Rampage, PAKZ Esko.

    We are currently running Prinergy v10.0.0.82. I am running MacOS Sonoma (14.7). I just wanted to see if anyone has updated to MacOS Sequoia (15) and is using Prinergy. Is there anything in particular that I need to watch out for before upgrading to this OS. Thanks in advance.
