Ah!!!! I had this exact problem on my DBM-120 a couple of years ago and queried it with Duplo. When I asked if it was a known problem they said No!!!! I ended up spraying silicone spray into the cartridge and it helped for a bit.

How many pages was the booklet? Does it have a gloss laminate cover which makes it slippery. Is it being gripped heavily enough to be pulled to the trimmer at the specified time allocated.

I use a V80 so I'm not sure what the equivalent setting is on the V280 but change the paper type setting to Embossed or Cast Coated at the heaviest paper weight.

Just to let you know, Xerox are discontinuing the Versant 80 at the end of 2024. I think this might make it harder to get parts/consumables

I actually ran this job in slow mode due to the solid blue leaving CMY lines and since you mentioned it, do you know of any solution to get rid of the black banding line.
