We have had the developer housing replaced a few times over the years as well as the drive motors for it. Not sure if it is common for others but has been common for us, think it has all been fully replaced for each colour.

That is what we do. Will get a link to a massive PDF from the client, I will drop it in indesign take a look make sure everything is ok, re-save as a high quality PDF and 9/10 times it is small enough for me to send back through email.

our J75 was a nightmare. A year of fighting with Xerox had them take it back at full price and put that towards a heavy reduced price Versant 2100 which is a dream to run. We do all our finishing offline, other then fold and staple. Those types of jobs are generally too large to run digitally.

That is how I do it. I do not have PitStop or any other software for that kind of thing. This works and does not take too much time though obviously the automated solutions are better.
