Any tips for repairing a rubber roller on an UV coater?

Send it to a company that recovers printing press rollers. They will know what type of rubber you require for UV products. If you know what durometer you want that would be helpful information also

Registration Error from bad Cylinder Geometry?

Registration Error from bad Cylinder Geometry?

Most presses have fixed bearers on plate/blanket cylinders and adjustment for squeeze is done via changes in packing. There are adjustments however for the Pre-Load for the bearers usually checked by using a foil strip. This should only be done by a qualified technician To allow for different...

    WaterBased Coating Vs Varnish

no it wont work. WB needs heat and air to dry and was not made to go into an ink duct. Varnish will go into and inking system but beware of allowing it to sit on the rollers too long or you will get very familiar with removing and scrubbing your rollers not sure if these guys can help you out...

On Lithoman 38inch web offset Press water roller

Is the problem on all print units or just one. Are you using a central FS tank that supplies all units or does each unit have its own tank. I would suspect it is the FS as you had the issue before you changed the roller. When did you switch FS and did you have the problem before? Has anyone...

how much ventilation is really needed for digital presses?

Having a foul chemical taste in your mouth is not normal. Something is not right and you may suffer long term affects if someone does not correct the problem

"Darker" or "brighter" print (ink density?)

In your post there are many references to personal interpretation of the printed result, 'too black, need it calmed down' etc...
