Made decision went with Mimaki.

Making decision on Mimaki Ujf 12 or Roland lef 12 to print on otter box cases. Like features on both not clear on which one. Anyone with experience with both brands with thoughts? I have seen samples and I think both will do job. Easy to use which one? Speed? Reliability? Thanks for any thoughts.

Right I tried my printer friend brought over the envelopes and I tried and couldn't get a measurement. I found out they had 11 projects to launch this campaign and they had issues with 8 of them.

No the envelopes cost $2,300 dollars no sample to go by one of those need it now jobs. And really it is so close 99 people out of 100 couldn't tell. I still think it looks good.

I would say no. There is always someone that rigs something that might get it to work. I heard they are coming out with a attachment for the 7000 that will allow you to run envelopes.

In my experience this happens win you mix transparencies with spot color. In inDesign I'll change spot colors to cymk process. And that will fix it

Fuji 720 jpress is a sheet feed inkjet press. But it flood coats the sheet which makes a offset sheet of paper inkjet paper before it is inkjeted which resolves the problem.

Their are things they can do. Have seen it on 6500. Sounds like lack of knowledge by the tech. Only thing im aware of is new coronas that might be all you need. But I think their are a few tweaks he can do. Try cleaning them your self see if you see an improvement.
