Regarding the "sticking" noise, No harm, No foul! The sticking can be separated with an aerator/skid turner. At least the sticking is not creating any defective waste.

Is your concern you don't feel the powder or that you are getting some setoff, blocking, sticking causing print quality defects and waste?

The amount of effort (time & materials) to get a press-to-proof color match depends on the sophistication of press technology. Most printers don't buy a press because it prints faster (22K sph), it's because they can reduce the make-ready (MR) time shorter. CMS = Color Management System (~G7).
