You can create a relatively simple applescript based workflow to do this. I would recommend still Distilling the files before creating high res pdf. It's possible to write a script to create ps files once qxd's are dropped into a hot folder, pass them to a Distiller watched folder. Some features...

Re: Workflow question regarding fixing PDF's I agree Neo is much quicker at editing text than Pitstop. None of the "freezing cursor" syndrome with Neo. Also the Certified PDF support is good giving you a full audit trail of the changes made to the PDF file.
